Robert Tensmeyer

Robert Tensmeyer is an attorney at Deiss Law PC in Salt Lake City. A central part of his practice is representing survivors of sexual assault and abuse in civil claims against the individuals and institutions responsible for their harm. Robert handles these cases with the discretion they require, protecting his clients’ privacy from the first conversation through resolution.

Robert also represents individuals and businesses in personal injury, products liability, civil rights, and commercial cases. He has taken matters from the first filing through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts, and has secured millions of dollars for his clients.

Before joining Deiss Law, Robert was a law clerk at the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office and an intern with the U.S. Department of Justice’s U.S. Trustee Program. He received his J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Philosophy from Brigham Young University. He is admitted to practice in Utah, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and the Ute Indian Tribal Court.
